Green Silicon Carbide also known as Green Carborundum is an extremely hard (Knoop 2600 or Mohs 9.2, microhardness 2940-3320) man made mineral that possesses high thermal conductivity (100 W/m-K). It also has high strength at elevated temperatures (at 1000°C, Green SiC is 7.5 times stronger than Al2O3). Among abrasives, silicon carbide’s hardness is higher than corundum, and ranked below diamond, cubic boron nitride and boron carbide. Density generally viewed is 3.20-3.25g/cm3, bulk density is 1.2-1.6g/cm3.
Green Silicon Carbide is an entirely new batch composition made from silica sand and petroleum coke, appended with salt, then smelted in electric arc furnace, and is extremely pure. It can be manufactured in many complex bonded shapes, which are utilized for super refractory purposes. Green silicon carbide is also ideal for a wide variety of abrasive applications.

●The main use of grit size sand
As the abrasive, it is suitable for grinding carbide, hard and brittle metal and non-metallic materials, e.g. copper, brass, aluminum and magnesium metals, gems, optical glass, ceramics and other non-metallic materials.
Mainly used for glass polishing, crystal grinding, solar and semiconductor wafer wire sawing, ceramic polishing, as well as precision grinding wheel manufacturing, plastic products, etc.

●The use of green silicon carbide powder

Polish machine parts, metal products, cylinder, piston ring, pump, nozzles, bearings, roller ball and precision measuring instruments and polishing glass lenses, prisms, flat polished crystal and other products.

Silicon carbide powder is also widely used in refractory, wear-resistant floors, ceramic foam, special coatings, corrosion-resistant paint, flow separation and environmental protection industries.

1).Our first choice is T/T. For a large order 40% T/T in advance is earnest money, the rest to be paid in 7-10 days after getting B/L copy. For a small order,100% T/T in advance.
2).Second choice is L/C. We can accept irrevocable L/C at sight. For a large order 40%T/T, 60%L/C. We couldn’t accept L/C for a small order. The best way of payment we advise is T/T, because L/C is very complicated and a lot of extra fee to give the bank.
