Garnet is a mineral abrasive produced from naturally garnet. Garnet is a cost effective, environmentally and operator friendly, and a common replacement for silica sand in sand blasting. Alluvial garnet grains which are rounder & more suitable for such sand blasting treatments. Garnet particles are dense, hard and sharp and free of heavy metals or toxic components. The low consume of garnet permits recycling up to 2-3 times and the relatively high density ensures fast blasting speeds.
